ABSTRACT
The elaboration of a situational diagnosis for academic purposes allows to identify and analyze the problems present in the environment to be studied. This work was carried out digitally due to confinement and university indications with virtual teaching modality, it is based on the methodological framework of the social determinants of health. To collect the information, a mixed methodology and various techniques were used to stimulate the participation of the students of the University Network. The diagnostic exercise was carried out in phases from the elaboration of the protocol, collection of information and prioritization of problems. The objective of this work was to diagnose the mental health situation in the students of the University of Guadalajara in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The results reveal a situation that is mostly visible due to social influence and digital demand in the use of technology, which took by surprise without having a clear plan and with the uncertainty of the times marked by the same pandemic. It is necessary to consider this information as a curve of the spiral that can only be intervened from a more holistic approach to health and that is not a unicausal etiology and the intervention must be designed for practical purposes and reach the target population.REFERENCES
