ABSTRACT
A maxilar cyst is defined as a slow grow encapsulated pathological cavity covered with epitelial and conective tissue, it´s located inside the maxila or soft tissues, with fluid, semifluid o gaseous contents. Globulomaxillary cyst is form from the globular portion of nasal and maxilar process as a epithelial proliferation during embriologic stages. It is considered as a grow cyst because of its non odontogenic origin from epithelial remnants of facial fusion process. Generally is located between upper lateral incisor and canine. Radiographs shows a homegeneus, well defined inverted “pear/tear shape” radiolucency. Present case describes clinical, radiographic and hystholical features of a globulomaxilar cyst in a pediatric dental patient, as well as its surgical treatment and short term follow up.
