ABSTRACT
Palmar-plantar pustulosis is a rare dermatosis. It is often diagnosed as if it were pustular psoriasis. To properly diagnose it, it is necessary to carefully analyze each case, requesting the pertinent tests, including a biopsy. Once diagnosed, treatment consists of general measures and the application of topical corticosteroids. If no improvement is observed, the administration of more aggressive immunosuppressive therapies should be evaluated. In this article we report the case of a 58-year-old woman with palmar-plantar pustulosis, who evolved favorably with the prescribed treatment.
