ABSTRACT
The PSA (Prostatic Specific Antigen) can be isolated in the normal prostate, prostate cancer and prostatic adenoma, among other tissues. Its determination is mainly confirmed by blood analysis, and acquires preponderant importance in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer; two forms of the same are differentiated, one free and the other one complex; this one can be more specific than the total one which is determined b y urine, therefore reference values were searched for to make the studies of such value in urine.
