ABSTRACT
The coronavirus pandemic is currently the most relevant situation in the world due to its high infectious power and high lethality in various risk groups, where all people affected by it have real possibilities of acute cardiac complications, but patients with underlying cardiovascular diseases are the highest risk according to the data collected so far and therefore the acting doctors in this situation have additional reasons to remain alert with a view to avoiding these deadly complications or giving them the best possible management. In this article we present relevant data related to the cardiac complications produced by this lethal virus, which will allow us a better understanding of its serious repercussion on the cardiovascular system.
