ABSTRACT
Primary immunodeficiencies are a heterogeneous group of congenital diseases of the immune system that lead to recurrent infections, autoimmunity, malignancies, and hematologic disorders. This review focuses specifically on congenital disorders associated with neutropenia, which can occur in isolation or as a feature of more complex immune disorders and specifically on quantitative neutrophil defects.
