RESUMEN
La fibrilación auricular es la causa de la tercera parte de los ingresos hospitalarios en las clínicas de arritmias cardíacas. El éxito en su tratamiento depende de medidas como: el control del ritmo ventricular, la anticoagulación, el uso de bloqueadores adrenérgicos tipo beta y la cardioversión eléctrica o farmacológica.
