FRAGMENTO

En la actualidad, la anestesiología obstétrica es toda una subespecialidad demandante y de gran relevancia, pues las particularidades y cambios anatomofisiológicos en la mujer gestante inciden de manera importante en los procedimientos de anestesia y analgesia obstétrica. Estas posibles variaciones aumentan los riesgos en la paciente y, con ello, aumenta nuestra vigilancia y conocimiento de lo que puede o debe efectuarse en el momento adecuado ya sea antes, durante y después o perioperatorio, de la atención del parto o cesárea.
