Síndrome de Takotsubo como forma de presentación de síndrome coronario agudo complicado

RESUMEN
El síndrome de Takotsubo, o miocardiopatía por estrés, es una miocardiopatía reversible que se puede presentar como un síndrome coronario agudo, como un síndrome de insuficiencia cardíaca aguda o como una embolia sistémica. Aunque su mecanismo no se conoce con certeza; la hipótesis más aceptada está vinculada con una descarga de catecolaminas endógenas o exógenas. Si bien se reconocen desencadenantes o gatillos emocionales o físicos para su desarrollo, en ocasiones se presenta en ausencia de ellos. El síndrome de Takotsubo se caracteriza por una anomalía transitoria de la motilidad parietal del VI que comparte aspectos comunes con el síndrome coronario agudo (síntomas, anomalías del ECG, biomarcadores cardíacos elevados). Si bien se ha avanzado en el conocimiento de esta entidad, existen aún muchos aspectos sin aclarar. Presentamos un caso de una paciente que sufrió de dicha entidad clínica.
