Hallazgos ecocardiográficos de cor pulmonale durante la apnea obstructiva del sueño. Presentación de dos casos

RESUMEN
Se presentan los casos de dos niños con datos de obstrucción de las vías aéreas superiores y hallazgos ecocardiográficos compatibles con hipertensión arterial pulmonar severa y
cor pulmonale, en ambos pacientes se diagnostica por estudio polisomnográfico apnea obstructiva del sueño. Debido a los hallazgos y a la poca respuesta al manejo médico, se somete a ambos pacientes a procedimiento quirúrgico, con lo que acusan mejoría en su problema obstructivo.
