RESUMEN
El objetivo de estas recomendaciones es que estén al alcance de cualquier anestesiólogo, para poder realizar una ventilación protectora en el paciente durante la pandemia COVID-19, en el que se enfrentará a una persona de características únicas, de difícil manejo ventilatorio en un escenario de crisis de escasez de recursos, falta y fatiga de personal de la salud. No recomendamos usar estas guías ante un escenario diferente.
