HECHOS RELEVANTES
1. El
dolor torácico es un motivo frecuente de consulta, de diagnóstico complejo y que genera gran
angustia en pacientes y familiares.
2. La clasificación de riesgo de síndrome coronario
agudo (SICA), permite establecer prioridades en
la atención de pacientes con dolor torácico.
3. El grupo de edad más frecuente en los casos analizados
fueron los pacientes de entre 31 y 40 años (27.6%), con una edad promedio de 49.1 años.
4. En cerca de la mitad de los casos (48.3%), el diagnóstico
de egreso fue un padecimiento cardiológico, de los cuales el infarto agudo al miocardio 27.6%) y la angina inestable (13.8%) fueron los diagnósticos más frecuentes.
