A la memoria de Miguel Tanimoto, buen clínico y buen hombre
Este ensayo tratará de mostrar en qué se han basado los clínicos para desarrollar su trabajo en los últimos 425 años. Después de relatar lo que ha sucedido en ese tiempo, propondré cómo creo que deberán prepararse los clínicos en los próximos 25 años tomando en consideración el desarrollo de una ciencia biomédica nueva: el mapeo y la caracterización del genoma humano.
