Lesión aguda de ligamento escafosemilunar

RESUMEN
El ligamento interóseo escafosemilunar es una estructura vital en la estabilidad articular de la muñeca. Por lo general las lesiones en este ligamento pasan desapercibidas o son mal diagnosticadas, por lo que se presentan en estadios avanzados con pocas posibilidades de realizar un procedimiento quirúrgico primario. Es importante conocer los síntomas, las maniobras de exploración y los estudios de gabinete necesarios para su diagnóstico. El tratamiento está determinado por el estadio o grado en el que se encuentre la lesión, pero en general en la fase aguda, el objetivo de éste es recuperar la estabilidad de la articulación, ya sea por medio de reparación directa, capsulodesis e incluso tenodesis, cuyo fin último será evitar la artrosis.
