Hiperpigmentación mucocutánea inducida por hidroxicloroquina en un paciente con lupus eritematoso sistémico

RESUMEN
La hiperpigmentación por cloroquina es un efecto adverso bien
conocido por el consumo de este fármaco, la cual se presenta
algunos meses después de iniciar el tratamiento y afecta la piel
y las mucosas. Sin embargo, este efecto adverso se ha descrito
con menos frecuencia en pacientes a los que se les prescribe
hidroxicloroquina, aunque son pocos los casos reportados en la
literatura. En este estudio presentamos el caso de una mujer de
58 años con lupus eritematoso sistémico en tratamiento con hidroxicloroquina,
a quien se diagnosticó con hiperpigmentación
mucocutánea.
