RESUMEN
La rehabilitación es una parte básica en el tratamiento de las secuelas de un accidente vascular cerebral (AVC). Un 10% se recupera en su totalidad en forma espon-tánea y el 10 % no se recupera, 80 % se beneficia con el tratamiento. En el trabajo se presentan los resultados obtenidos en 20 pacientes tratados en el Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía con miembro torácico parético como secuela de un accidente vascular cerebral, usando distintos métodos de terapia.
