Propuesta de protocolo de hemorragia masiva

RESUMEN
La hemorragia es una causa de muerte prevenible en el periodo perioperatorio. Además de las estrategias para controlar el origen del sangrado, la resucitación puede alterar los desenlaces de los pacientes. El Centro Médico ABC en sus dos sedes podría beneficiarse de la implementación de un protocolo multidisciplinario que identifique a los pacientes con hemorragia masiva y responda de forma estandarizada para su resucitación. Además de reducir la morbilidad y mortalidad, un protocolo puede ayudar a racionalizar el uso de hemocomponentes y a individualizar la terapia con base en la mejor evidencia disponible. De forma indispensable, proponemos incluir al protocolo en un modelo de gobernanza clínica para la mejora continua.
