Aneurisma de aorta abdominal

RESUMEN
Un aneurisma se define como la dilatación segmentaria de una
arteria o vena. A nivel aórtico se define como el aumento del
diámetro de la aorta en más de 50%. Se presenta el caso de un
paciente al cual se le diagnosticó aneurisma de la aorta roto, se
intervino quirúrgicamente y se practicó reparación abierta de aneurisma
de aorta abdominal roto. El ultrasonido abdominal es la
técnica de elección para el diagnóstico, el seguimiento y el tamizaje
del aneurisma de aorta abdominal.
