RESUMEN
En todo el mundo existe un enorme crecimiento y desarrollo de la medicina alternativa y complementaria; por ello se ha examinado desde múltiples y complejos puntos de vista. Su utilización e incorporación a nuestro medio es todo un reto para la medicina científica.
El propósito de este trabajo es introducir, fundamentar e interesar en la medicina alternativa a los médicos mexicanos que atienden los trastornos del oído, la nariz, la garganta, la cabeza y el cuello.
