RESUMEN

En esta revisión se exponen las complicaciones postoperatorias en la cirugía de colon y recto como: la dehiscencia o fuga de las anastomosis, sepsis, hemorragia, oclusión intestinal, estenosis de la anastomosis, obstrucción intestinal, retraso de la cicatrización de la herida perineal en resección abdominoperineal, recurrencia tumoral, trastornos sexuales, urológicas y fístula colocutánea o enterocutánea.
