Estrategias antienvejecimiento

RESUMEN

El envejecimiento de la piel es un proceso fisiológico caracterizado por múltiples cambios morfológicos y funcionales, está determinado tanto por factores externos como internos; sin embargo, actualmente existen estrategias preventivas y tratamientos que nos permiten envejecer de manera saludable. En este artículo se hace una revisión de los agentes tópicos más usados, métodos químicos, toxina botulínica, materiales de relleno, dispositivos de luz, entre otros, con el objetivo de reconocer los diferentes mecanismos de envejecimiento cutáneo y las distintas estrategias con que cuenta la medicina hoy en día para combatirlo.
