RESUMEN
Los láseres, luces y equipos médicos de alta tecnología han cobrado
gran relevancia en el manejo de las afecciones cutáneas,
con múltiples aplicaciones que van desde el tratamiento de lesiones
vasculares, tatuajes, nevos y vello no deseado, hasta la reducción
de adiposidades o de la flacidez cutánea y subcutánea.
Para su estudio, esta revisión se divide en tres secciones: láseres
pigmento-selectivos e ipl (luz intensa pulsada), láseres atraídos
por agua o grasa, y tecnología dermatológica no láser. Aquí se
presenta la segunda de estas tres partes. Se revisa el concepto
de fototermólisis fraccionada, el uso y aplicación tradicional y
las nuevas tendencias de uso de los láseres fraccionados microablativos
y no ablativos. En este segmento se incluyen los
láseres fraccionados de CO
2, erbio, erbium:yag, tulio y el láser
fraccionado híbrido, así como los láseres ablativos no fraccionados.
Se revisan también las aplicaciones quirúrgicas del láser
ablativo de CO
2, así como los láseres lipolíticos invasivos y no
invasivos.
