RESUMEN
La enfermedad vascular cerebral (EVC) constituye la segunda causa global de muerte (97 %) de las cuales el 89%
sucede en países de ingresos bajos o medios. La hemorragia subaracnoidea aneurismática (HSA) es un subtipo de
EVC, que afecta cualquier edad; corresponde al 5% de eventos cerebrovasculares situándola en la cuarta causa
de estos. El presente trabajo es un ensayo clínico aleatorizado, doble ciego, controlado con placebo que se lleva a
cabo en el Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía de junio 2013 a febrero 2014, se incluyeron a 20 pacientes.
