El programa de trasplantes de células hematopoyéticas de la Clínica Ruiz de Puebla (1993-2016)

RESUMEN
En mayo de 1993 se inició un programa de trasplantes de células
hematopoyéticas en el Centro de Hematología y Medicina Interna de
Puebla, ubicado dentro de la Clínica Ruiz. Desde entonces, y hasta
julio de 2016, se han realizado 503 trasplantes hematopoyéticos con
células autólogas, alogénicas y placentarias. El programa de trasplantes
ha generado múltiples publicaciones en revistas nacionales e internacionales,
junto al programa gemelo de trasplantes hematopoyéticos
del Hospital Universitario de Nuevo León, y se ha convertido en el
programa más grande de trasplantes hematopoyéticos en el sector
privado del país. Algunas de las publicaciones han obtenido distinciones
por parte de instituciones académicas, como la Agrupación
Mexicana para el Estudio de la Hematología, la Academia Nacional de
Medicina, la Fundación Mexicana para la Salud y el Instituto CARSO.
