Dislipidemias e hipertensión arterial

RESUMEN
La mayoría de los estudios recientes de observación ha fracasado en encontrar una asociación entre la ingestión de
productos lácteos y un mayor riesgo de enfermedad cardiovascular, enfermedad coronaria y accidente cerebrovascular,
independientemente de las concentraciones de grasa de la leche. El propósito de esta revisión es examinar la investigación
publicada sobre la relación entre los productos lácteos que contienen grasa de la leche y la salud cardiovascular. A pesar
de su aporte de ácidos grasos saturados en la dieta, no hay evidencia clara de que los productos lácteos estén asociados
con un mayor riesgo de enfermedad cardiovascular (ECV). En consecuencia, en la actualidad las recomendaciones dietéticas
para restringir grasas saturadas en la dieta deben ser evaluadas en cada caso en particular.
