Adenoma invasor en seno esfenoidal y clivus

RESUMEN
Reportamos el caso de un paciente masculino de 59 años de edad con adenoma pituitario productor de prolactina con depósitos de amiloide en el seno esfenoidal y el clivus, que presentó cefalea por 25 años, con hiperprolactinemia y por estudios de neuroima-gen que incluye tomografía cráneo, tomografía e imagen de resonancia magnética, claramente con la presencia de un tumor en el seno esfenoidal y el clivus. Este tumor fue resecado parcialmente vía abordaje sublabial transeptal transesfenoidal ampliado al clivus. Presentamos su posible origen ectópico y relación embriológica.
