Señor editor: recientemente se publicó un artículo de revisión en la revista Salud Pública de México, respecto a los factores de virulencia en Helicobacter pylori, microrganismo que se asocia a varias patologías gástricas. El cáncer gástrico puede
tener como causa la infección por H. pylori, microrganismo que induce citocinas inflamatorias y estrés oxidativo.
