FRAGMENTO

CASO CLÍNICO

El caso corresponde a un paciente masculino de 57 años de edad, casado, músico profesional, sin antecedentes familiares relevantes y con historia personal de tuberculosis pulmonar tratada hace más de 10 años. No tiene antecedente tabáquico o de alcoholismo. Negó tomar medicamentos y describió alergia a la aspirina manifestada por edema palpebral.
El padecimiento actual lo inició cuatro semanas antes de su ingreso cuando presentó dolor epigástrico intermitente y de tipo ardoroso que no respondió inicialmente a antiácidos ni a omeprazol. Al persistir con el dolor se le practicó un ultrasonido del abdomen, el cual mostró hígado y vesícula normales, y una masa hipoecoica en el cuerpo del páncreas.
