RESUMEN

El objetivo de esta publicación es revisar detalladamente los efectos biológicos y clínicos de un fármaco relativamente nuevo antagonista de la GnRH. Este medicamento ha tenido importante incremento de consumo desde su aparición en el mercado. Aquí se evalúan sus características y las diferentes estrategias de aplicación; con base en ello se analizan los resultados en procedimientos de reproducción asistida.
