RESUMEN

El tumor dentinogénico de células fantasma es una neoplasia rara; es la contraparte del quiste odontogénico calcificado. Es localmente invasivo y se caracteriza por islas de células epiteliales sin núcleo denominadas “fantasma”, parecidas a los ameloblastomas en un estroma de tejido conectivo maduro. Describimos el caso de un hombre de 31 años de edad, con un cuadro de evolución de dos meses, con aumento de volumen del ángulo izquierdo de la mandíbula y dolor a la masticación. El tratamiento aplicado fue resección amplia con márgenes histológicamente limpios.
