Introducción

En 2011 la población mundial ascendió a 7 mil millones de personas y 82.2% de ella se concentró en las regiones menos desarrolladas del mundo. Datos recientes señalan que en México residen 112.3 millones de personas, siendo el onceavo país más poblado del mundo.
