RESUMEN
Los efectos nocivos del tabaco sobre la salud son bien conocidos; sin embargo, cuando se tiene que realizar
una cirugía y el paciente es fumador, muchas veces es fácil olvidar la influencia de este factor en la cicatrización.
Realizamos una breve revisión de los efectos del tabaco en este sentido.
