Bleomicina intralesional en dermatología. Revisión

RESUMEN
La bleomicina es una mezcla citotóxica de polipéptidos que ha sido usada tradicionalmente para el tratamiento
sistémico de algunos cánceres. Por su alta selectividad por las células epiteliales se ha sugerido
el uso de bleomicina intralesional para el tratamiento de ciertas patologías cutáneas.
En esta revisión se describe el uso de bleomicina intralesional para el tratamiento de verrugas, queloides, sarcoma
de Kapósi, cáncer de piel no melanoma, leucoplaquia oral, hemangiomas y linfangiomas. Los resultados de los
tratamientos son satisfactorios y prometedores para todas las lesiones, pero debido al escaso número de pacientes
estudiados no se puede indicar como un método de rutina mientras no se disponga de mayor evidencia.
