RESUMEN

La hiperhidrosis puede ser generalizada o focal. Condiciona alteraciones en el entorno social y laboral. Existe un amplio abanico de tratamientos que van desde las sustancias tópicas, el tratamiento farmacológico, la iontoforesis y la toxina botulínica hasta el tratamiento quirúrgico.
