FRAGMENTO
Después del descubrimiento del cloroformo, en 1831, y la demostración de sus efectos anestésicos en humanos, John Snow lo administró a la reina Victoria para el nacimiento del príncipe Leopoldo en 1853, lo que hizo muy popular el método en obstetricia.
