Edema pulmonar en hemorragia subaracnoidea

RESUMEN
La hemorragia subaracnoidea tiene diferentes
manifestaciones extraneurológicas. La disfunción
cardiopulmonar es una de ellas y se manifiesta con
disfunción miocárdica y edema agudo pulmonar.
La liberación masiva de catecolaminas durante la
hemorragia subaracnoidea condiciona lesión de las
células miocárdicas, de los capilares pulmonares
y edema pulmonar. Los pacientes con hemorragia
subaracnoidea con manifestaciones cardiopulmonares
requieren una evaluación integral, vigilancia estrecha
y una adecuada intervención para optimizar la función
cardiopulmonar.
