RESUMEN
Actualmente el tamizaje en busca
de hipotiroidismo subclinico
es muy debatido, los beneficios
en su manejo farmacológico
parecen ser cada vez más claros
pero todavía no existe evidencia
científica lo suficientemente
definitiva para abalar protocolos
terapéuticos, exceptuando
a pacientes obstétricas, en
las cuales el tratamiento es
prioritario. El estudio del paciente
con hipotiroidismo subclinico
involucra un abordaje integral
e individualizado, valorando
factores de riesgo y estimando
beneficios.
