Fístula trigeminocavernosa. Reporte de un caso y revisión de la literatura

RESUMEN
La arteria trigeminal primitiva persistente (ATPP) es una variante anatómica rara resultante de la falta de obliteración de la AT embrionaria. La comunicación patológica entre la ATPP y el seno cavernoso (SC) se denomina fístula trigeminocavernosa. Presentamos el caso de una paciente con una fístula trigeminocavernosa secundaria a traumatismo craneoencefálico que fue tratada mediante embolización con
coils.
