FRAGMENTO
La Organización Panamericana de la Salud, en su sitio Web de desastres, emitió un
boletín que señalaba la necesidad de atención urgente de cuidados posoperatorios que
tenían muchos sobrevivientes del terremoto en Haití ocurrido el 12 de enero de 2010,
ya que miles de haitianos sufrieron amputaciones como consecuencia de las lesiones
ocasionadas, y de la necesidad de su rehabilitación para incorporarlos a la sociedad.
