Poliomielitis paralitica asociada a la vacuna (PPAV): Reporte de dos casos en México

RESUMEN
Se reporta el caso de dos lactantes que presentaron parálisis flácida aguda (PFA) con secuelas neurológicas después de 60
días del inicio de la parálisis. Ambos pacientes con antecedente de haber recibido la primera dosis de la vacuna oral contra
poliomielitis. El estudio de búsqueda de poliovirus en heces, reportó la presencia de alguna cepa vacunal, por lo que fueron
clasificados como casos de poliomielitis paralítica asociada a vacunación (PPVA).
