Reconstrucción de pared abdominal por hernias incisionales complejas

FRAGMENTO
Paciente masculino de 42 años de edad con antecedente de traumatismo contuso en abdomen por accidente automovilístico a la edad de 25 años; requirió múltiples laparotomías, por las que se sometió a resecciones intestinales, sigmoidectomía, drenaje de abscesos, lavados de cavidad abdominal, una ileostomía en asa y posterior cierre de ileostomía. Dos años después desarrolló una hernia incisional que fue tratada con malla no absorbible, con subsecuente remoción por infección de sitio quirúrgico. Permaneció con el defecto en pared abdominal y la herida cutánea cicatrizó por segunda intención con cuidados locales.
