RESUMEN
La posición en silla de playa y la hipotensión inducida se utilizan para mejorar el campo quirúrgico durante la cirugía artroscópica de hombro. Sin embargo, éstas tienen el potencial de causar complicaciones neurológicas postoperatorias debido a la hipoperfusión cerebral. El objetivo de este trabajo es dar a conocer los conceptos actuales relacionados a las complicaciones cardioneurológicas asociadas con esta posición.
