Bancos de tejidos musculoesqueléticos en México: conducta, manejo y recomendaciones sobre sus actividades

RESUMEN
Actualmente, los bancos de tejidos requieren de un manejo interdisciplinario que obliga a detectar y resolver sus conflictos de presión, tomando en cuenta las consideraciones éticas, la seguridad y la calidad de los tejidos provistos, su conducta bajo los principios de altruismo, solidaridad y equidad así la obtención de tejidos del donante cadavérico. Este artículo de revisión tiene como por objetivo informar acerca de los principales aspectos de trabajo y coordinación de los departamentos propios de los bancos de tejidos, reconocer sus figuras de responsabilidad sanitaria y los organismos que emiten recomendaciones para mantener la seguridad clínica respecto a la prevención de las infecciones y transmisión de las enfermedades relacionadas con los injertos musculoesqueléticos.
