Implicaciones clínicas del síndrome de Turner en la fertilidad y el embarazo

RESUMEN
Las mujeres con síndrome de Turner tienen alta incidencia de complicaciones obstétricas severas, incluido el riesgo de muerte durante la gestación. Un equipo médico que incluya especialistas en Cardiología, Genética y Medicina materno-fetal debe realizar una evaluación preconcepcional y prenatal de estas mujeres en caso de considerar la posibilidad de embarazo. Se revisan las principales implicaciones clínicas del síndrome de Turner en la fertilidad y el embarazo y se hacen algunas recomendaciones para el seguimiento y vigilancia de las pacientes.
