Aproximaciones al futuro de la biblioteca académica en el horizonte 2010-2015

RESUMEN
A partir del examen de las predicciones realizadas por un conjunto de estudios de
futuro sobre las bibliotecas académicas, se elaboró una caracterización de estas para
el período 2010-2015, que comprende: funciones y actividades, usuarios, productos y
servicios, tecnología, colección, local, personal y financiamiento. El perfil elaborado es
un instrumento útil para la gestión presente y futura de esta clase de instituciones.
