Tumor de células gigantes de la vaina tendinosa en la mano

RESUMEN
Los tumores de células gigantes de la vaina tendinosa (TCG-VT) son lesiones benignas sólidas, solitarias, que son más comunes en la mano que en cualquier otro sitio. La recurrencia es la principal complicación después de la escisión. Se comunica el caso de una mujer de 47 años de edad con tumor de células gigantes de la vaina tendinosa del tendón flexor del pulgar derecho. La masa se extrajo sin lesionar el tendón. En el seguimiento a seis meses no se observó recurrencia.
