Introducción

La terapia endovascular neurológica (TEV) es el tratamiento mínimamente invasivo único o complementario que se aplica a diversas patologías cerebrales a través de la navegación intravascular selectiva. Se realiza con catéteres guiados por fluoroscopía desde un acceso vascular periférico. Esta práctica también se le conoce como terapia endovascular neurológica o neurorradiología intervencionista.
