FRAGMENTO
En la primera parte de esta revisión se mencionó que al comparar los resultados de la medición con la procalcitonina (PCT) con respecto a la prueba semicuantitativa de PCT-Q, los autores encontraron mediciones mayores de 0.5 ng/mL de PCT que fueron calificadas correctamente al estar de acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos con el test rápido semicuantitativo PCT-Q: con sólo tres casos de falsos positivos/dudosos, en los niños con cistitis.
