RESUMEN
En el presente trabajo se analizan las ventajas del “Outsourcing” o externalización y de los posibles problemas que nos pueden surgir al aplicarlo dentro del campo de la electromedicina hospitalaria. La falta de coordinación, de objetivos o la inflexibilidad en la relación cliente-proveedor, son algunos de ellos. Se estudian también algunas herramientas como el “benchmarking” o la reingeniería de procesos. El trabajo finaliza con algunas recomendaciones para evitar los problemas antes mencionados.
