Guía de práctica clínica: Tratamiento del síndrome de dificultad respiratoria neonatal

RESUMEN
La supervivencia de un número cada vez mayor de neonatos prematuros que sufren síndrome de dificultad respiratoria ha ocasionado un incremento en su morbilidad y mortalidad a pesar del avance en los procedimientos diagnósticos y terapéuticos aplicados con diversos criterios, de acuerdo al nivel de conocimiento y de atención en las unidades de cuidados intensivos neonatales. Por esto, para mejorar y estandarizar los criterios de tratamiento del recién nacido con SDRn, se ha reunido un grupo de expertos para elaborar una guía de práctica clínica adaptada a nuestro medio, conforme a los criterios de la medicina basada en evidencia para su difusión nacional, aplicación e impacto en un mejor pronóstico para la vida y la función de los recién nacidos pretérmino.
